Please Note: If your property has been inspected recently and you are currently on a maintenance program you will not incur any further costs until the renewal of your next annual fee*.

(the tax invoice will be sent to your real estate agent)

We will inspect your property on an annual basis and as stated by law the start of each new tenancy to test, clean, check the batteries and to ensure all alarms located on the premises are installed as per manufacturers guide lines. South Coast Smoke Alarms does not charge for additional visits to your property once you are on our annual maintenance program.

If we need to install or replace smoke alarms in your property, to ensure that it is compliant please indicate by marking the box below which alarm you require us to install so you the owner and your property are protected.


9V Battery operated alarm (ionisation) $20.00 (meets AS 3786) minimum requirements

9V Battery operated alarm (photoelectric) $30.00 (Recommended by Australian Fire Rescue Service)

10 year non-removable lithium battery (photoelectric) $85.00 (Recommended by Australian Fire Rescue Service)

240 Volt hardwired replacement (photoelectric) $135.00 (Recommended by Australian Fire Rescue Service)

240 Volt hardwired new installation (photoelectric) $185.00 (Recommended by Australian Fire Rescue Service)

Terms and Conditions

I/ we authorise South Coast Smoke Alarms to be our exclusive smoke alarm maintenance provider. We are aware that the annual fee of $75.00 will be deducted from our nominated Real Estate agents account (annually). Membership will automatically renew each year unless cancelled in writing by the owner of the property/properties listed above. By completing the details on this membership form and submitting the form to South Coast Smoke Alarms, we acknowledge that we will be on their annual maintenance program, and authorise South Coast Smoke Alarms to carry out the inspections on our behalf to ensure our property/properties are and remain compliant under state law. We are aware we can remove ourselves from the program at any time by simply notifying South Coast Smoke Alarms in writing. We authorise South Coast Smoke Alarms to forward a copy of this membership form to our nominated agent.
